We are proud to serve Arepas… pronounced: “a-ray-pa”. The traditional dish of Venezuela that can be eaten for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
WE ARE ALSO OFFERING OUR EMPANADAS, TEQUEÑOS, CACHITOS, PAN DE JAMÓN (seasonal) AND HALLACAS (seasonal).
We are Gluten Free Certified as our Arepas, Empanadas and Hallacas are Gluten Free. However, take in mind that our Tequeños, Pan de Jamón (seasonal) and Cachitos are NOT Gluten Free.
If you have celiac disease, are gluten intolerant or just prefer a gluten free diet we got you Calgary! Our menu offers some gluten free items. And pretty dang delicious! We have won multiple “Best Food” awards from the Calgary Stampede and were also featured on Dragon’s Den!
With the current impact of COVID-19 on our community our food truck and Crossroads Market eatery are currently closed. But don’t worry, we offer free for a limited time delivery in Calgary of our award winning smoked meats and delicious sauces. We source our products to different business in Calgary and Edmonton, and everything is made in house by the Bosses!

New Bosses in town…
Since July 2022, there are new Bosses in town.
Carolina de Aleman and Pedro Aleman are the new Bosses, they have been married for almost 30 years and they have two beautiful children who are also part of Arepa Boss, mini Bosses Sammy and Pedrito. For around five years, Carolina and Pedro had delighted many customers with their Venezuelan cuisine approach thorough their previous business - Los Panas Deli. Empanadas, arepas, morcillas, cachapas, chorizos, tequeños, freeze dried fruits, hot sauces and salsas were among the different products offered by Los Panas Deli.
Now, merging Los Panas Deli with Arepa Boss, we expect to offer more products to our customers and expand our reach to other cities…
